Abstract
The relevance of the research topic is due to the need to analyze the functions and features of the dialect vocabulary of Cockney, as well as to determine its role in English lessons and in general secondary educational institutions. The types of Cockney dialect are singled out in the work, the advantages of fixing materials with elements of Cockney dialect are explained, methodical aspects of using Cockney dialect in English lessons are revealed.
