Formation of professional tolerance of future teachers as a socially significant value

Abstract

The article reveals the problem of creating a tolerant educational environment and the formation of professional tolerance of participants in the educational process in the context of higher education in some theoretical and practical aspects. The theoretical prerequisites for the formation of the main scientific definitions, such as «tolerance», «professional tolerance» and «tolerant educational environment» are considered. An attempt was made to formulate one's own well-founded understanding of the named categories. The presented practical experience of activities, proposed methods and forms of involvement of education seekers of the MUNICIPAL ESTABLISHMENT «KHARKIV HUMANITARIAN-PEDAGOGICAL ACADEMY» OF KHARKIV REGIONAL COUNCIL to the culture of tolerance are the result of the use of various educational technologies in the educational process, which contribute to the gradual formation of professional tolerance of future teachers as a socially significant value . We conduct various types of classes: problem-based lectures, seminars, and practical classes with the aim of forming the professional tolerance of future teachers. On them, we used such methods as solving problem situations; technology «Unfinished sentence», «Discussion»; joint solution of pedagogical problems and pedagogic tasks. Also, in the process of formation of pedagogical tolerance, we used variable forms of organization of tolerant interaction of participants in the educational process: trainings, role-playing games, etc. The systematized material of the article allows us to draw a conclusion about the timeliness and expediency of disseminating the experience of activities on the formation of professional tolerance and involvement in the values of society. У статті розкривається проблема створення толерантного освітнього середовища та формування професійної толерантності учасників освітнього процесу в контексті вищої освіти у деяких теоретичних та практичних аспектах. Розглянуто теоретичні передумови становлення основних наукових дефініцій, як «толерантність», «професійна толерантність» та «толерантне освітнє середовище». Здійснено спробу сформулювати власне обґрунтоване розуміння названих категорій. Представлений практичний досвід діяльності, запропоновані методи та форми залучення здобувачів освіти КОМУНАЛЬНОГО ЗАКЛАДУ «ХАРКІВСЬКА ГУМАНІТАРНО-ПЕДАГОГІЧНА АКАДЕМІЯ» ХАРКІВСЬКОЇ ОБЛАСНОЇ РАДИ до культури толерантності, є результатом використання в освітньому процесі різноманітних освітніх технологій, що сприяють поетапному формуванню професійної толерантності майбутніх вчителів як соціально значимої цінності. Нами проводяться різного типу заняття: проблемно-лекційні, семінарські та практичні заняття з метою формування професійної толерантності майбутніх учителів. На них ми використовували такі методи, як розв‘язання проблемних ситуацій; технологія «Незакінчене речення», «Дискусія»; спільне розв‘язання педагогічних задач та завдань з педагогіки. Також у процесі формування педагогічної толерантності ми використовували варіативні форм організації толерантної взаємодії учасників освітнього процесу: тренінги, рольові ігри тощо. Систематизований матеріал статті дозволяє зробити висновок про своєчасність та доцільність дисемінації досвіду діяльності з формування професійної толерантності та залучення до цінностей суспільства.
