Abstract

The aim of the article is to study the impact of digitalisation of education on the transformation of the student-centred approach. The study was conducted through a survey which was based on the questionnaire developed with the involvement of the international Erasmus+ MoPED project. The author identified the main range of issues that are of great concern to students in connection with the introduction of elements of digitalisation in the educational process. It was established that: most students do not trust the automated knowledge control system; most students expressed concern about the quality of digital teaching materials; most respondents expressed a willingness to take an active part in self-development and work on assignments in digital format. Thus, it was found that the student-centred approach is being transformed along with the digitalisation of the educational process. Further research in this direction may aim to identify more acceptable forms and methods of interaction between students and teachers on the basis of digital educational platforms to improve the quality of education and increase motivation to learn. The development of methods for transforming the student-centred approach in the use of digital learning platforms is also promising for further research
