Documents of the State Archive of the Kharkiv region as a source for the study of the land community 1922–1930

Abstract

The relevance of the research topic is determined by the interest of the Ukrainian public in the situation of the Ukrainian peasantry – the basis of the Ukrainian nation. It was the peasantry that preserved the language, traditions, and mentality of our people. Brutally carried out bolshevik collectivization, disenfranchisement, and famine led to the bloodletting of the village. With the revival of Ukrainian statehood, the crisis situation of the Ukrainian peasantry continues. The peasantry continues to be in a deep crisis, which threatens its final disappearance. We need to preserve the Ukrainian peasantry. Проаналізовано та класифіковано наявні в Державному архіві Харківської області документи щодо дослідження земельної громади в 1917–1930 рр. Доведено, що документи Державного архіву Харківської області дають можливість всебічно дослідити інститут земельної громади в краї.
