Abstract
The importance of the English language is highlighted in numerous laws and by-laws. Currently, it is taught from the first year in primary school. For more and more professions, it’s obligatory to pass an English exam to get Master’s degree. Since 2021 the State Final Attestation is to include obligatory subjects and English or another foreign language is one of them. The Ministry of Education and Science in Ukraine has made such a decision based on a growing importance of English knowledge
